Couple (60) seeking house in Westport

My partner and I are looking for a furnished rental in a village or small town anywhere in Ireland, although preferably in or near County Mayo. The place we seek would ideally be walkable to a pub or a restaurant. We are currently renting properties on AirBnB while we search for someplace more permanent. We do have a small dog. She is older, well-behaved, and very clean. I’m a citizen of Ireland, but have lived in the USA the majority of my life. Aaron, my life partner, is in Ireland on a resident visa. We always treat places we stay in with the utmost respect as though it is our own. We have rental references from property owners on AirBnB only, as we have not previously rented long-term in Ireland. We did own a property in America together for several years prior to our moving to Ireland in June 2026, and intend to eventually buy a home here, to live in Ireland over the foreseeable future.
